Zinc, our chosen roofing and cladding material, offers many environmental benefits. It is 100 percent recyclable and can be repurposed many times without losing any of its properties. Additionally, it does not react with rain water meaning that no pollutants are created. This means that there are no adverse environmental effects. Zinc the perfect building material to use in gardens or anywhere there is vegetation as plant life will not be affected.
Furthermore, once Found Space have completed your build, we can guarantee that our method of insulation will provide the ultimate in heat retention, thus reducing running costs and damage to the environment.

Zinc Cladding
Our preferred material for extensions and lofts is zinc. This material has many benefits to the customer, provided that it is fitted by a qualified professional. When working with zinc, we can guarantee that the tiles will maintain their exact initial appearance for up to 40 years! Due to the unique properties of the metal, the colour will not fade and tiles will not be tarnished by moss or mould. In fact, with time, any scratches or imperfections will fade meaning that it is almost self-renewing.
Zinc is lighter in weight than traditional building materials. From an architectural point of view, this offers great flexibility in terms of the structures can be created beneath it. When using zinc, the only limitation in terms of your design, is your own imagination. We can build round walls, create odd angles and produce the most stunning effects. It is also worth noting that when compared to other metals used for building e.g. copper, stainless steel and aluminum, zinc is cost effective to buy. For this reason, metal theft is very unlikely.
